Description
“In accordance with its other name – Fragrant Sarfeher – this wine opens with a lush, sweet, yellow-flowery fragrance, rather uncharacteristically of a Somlo wine. Apricot, ripe peach and flintstone follows on the nose. On the palate it is Somlo itself, it is salty and citrus-ey at the same time, with a tiny bit of residual sugar and a slight bittery aftertaste. In the end the salt remains with a hint of peach. A long, rich wine whilst it is very playful and light. If you do not know this grape variety, then it is a compulsory teaching material. ( and it wasn’t even me, who said that )!” – Source : Somló Kincse
