Bussay Winery

Our family winery is located on the border of three countries : Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia. The place is called Csornyefold, and the Estate lies on top of a small hill, kalled Kovecs-hill. Our father founded the winery in 1989. He and our mother, Agnes worked very hard that this region was finally recognised and became an integral part of Hungary’s wine – map. After our father’s death in 2014 my sister Bianka, and I, Dorottya BUSSAY took over the Estate. We work with a high yield restriction – each of our vine gives one bottle of wine. Our philosophy is that we bring the highest quality into our cellar and we try not to ruin it once it is inside. – translated from the winery’s website
