LEVENTE

Levente MAJOR,  owner and founder of this small, remote winery in amongst the volcanic hills of Matra dons probably the most well-known beard of the Hungarian Wine Scene. A primary school headmaster by ‘trade’, Levente carries on a century-old family winemaking tradition and is producing mostly low intervention natural wines in one of the most characteristic volcanic terroir regions of the country.
