The winery, founded by Janos STUMPF in 1992, works on 25 hectares of land, 17 of which is located on Eger Region’s most prestigeous single vineyard cru, called Nagy-Eged hill. They only produce their high-end bottled wines from this cru. The winery is now ran jointly with Peter, the son, and Janos, the father. They became known worldwide, when John SZABO, Canada’s first Master Sommelier choose them to co-produce their J+J label kekfrankos wine.
