ABELES Preshaz

Samuel ABELES wine-merchant built the cellar over 100 years ago, where this tiny winery is now operating at the foot of Somlo.  Imre Halász who is originally from around lake Balaton, moved to Somlo in 2018. He is a natural-organic grower, working without any chemicals both in vineyard and inside the cellar. Most his wines are sold outside of the country, under HOLASS lables. Imre is one of Hungary’s most influential natural winemakers. He is also the founder-organiser of Natur Sümeg.
