“Our family business, which goes back several generations, is located on the South-Eastern side of Somló. We work on 9 hectares with Olaszrizling, Juhfark and Hárslevelű grapes. Wines are made by Somló traditional methods,: low yield, fermentation and ageing in oak and acacia barrels. We are ageing the wines in the cellar for 1-2-3 years, before bottling. Due to our winemaking approach and the significant yield limitation, our wines reflect the typical Somlai terroir and are very rich in minerals.” Source: Kolonics Winery
