This very young wine region, that gained independence only in 1996, was included into our selection solely due to Krisztina CSETVEI. It is not volcanic, the soil here is mostly loess, chalk and dolomite. The home of the famous “ezerjo” – “thousand good” in literal translation is mostly a white-region. Originally we only sold the Somlo wines for Csetvei Cellar, but so many of you asked for them that a few years back we started listing their Mor ezerjo wines also. In some vintages, Mor wines give one or two elements of their Rock-Paper-Scissors series, too. We received the photo from the winery with thanks.
