ABELES Preshaz Sumeg

The name refers to the original owner, Samuel ABELES, of this cellar, who built it over 100 years ago at the foot of Somlo. ABELES wines come from both Somlo and from Sumeg ( a small winemaking sub-region right between Lake Balaton and Somlo ). The founder is Imre HALASZ, who was born in the Balaton region himself. He moved to Somlo in 2018. He processes his grapes himself, everything in his vineyard and cellar is manually done, including the bottling. He is one of the most influential Hungarian natural winemaker.
