Description
The H stands for ‘hordo’ – barrel in Hungarian . This wine gets processed both in an amfora and a barrel -this one is the barrel version. “Ezerjo” ( = thousand-good, literally translated ) is a local white variety, mostly known from MOR Appellation. This wine is not volcanic, but we like Kriszti’s wines and style so much, that – besides her Somlo Volcanics – we list all her Mor wines, too.
“Ezerjó, the emblematic variety of Mór, with a lot of love from Krisztina Csetvei. Characteristic wine, fermentation in wooden barrels, a real classic example of Mór wines. Krisztina ages Ezerjó in different vessels, this wine was aged in barrel, this is what ‘H’ (‘hordó’ = barrel) stands for. Hazelnut, floral notes, peach, spices and citrus. Delicately mineral. Lively and vibrant.
